Well the person that got me in to this hobby, my dad passed away last night.
Taught me so much and gave me lots of wisdom, will miss him Night Dad.
 
I know this must be making Christmas Day very hard for you. Keep the good memories close to your heart. I hope that you are able to find peace and joy celebrating his life, and the times that you shared together.

Thank you, ya my dad was a good un, got a reef keeper to set up, so it will help me though this.
 
I'm so sorry Larry, my thoughts are with you and your family today. My father and I started talking again recently, we were very close when I was younger, so this hits a personal note. Like Bob said, if there is anything we can do, please ask.

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sadness, I hope that the memories of your father will help to comfort you.

Larry I'm so very sorry to hear about your father. My condolences to you and your family on your loss. I'm sure you and your dad have fond memories to look back on. He will live forever in your heart and memories. I'm sure when you stare into your tank you will always remember the times you spent with him as he tought you about your wonderful hobby.
 
So sorry to hear it. The loss of a parent is so terrible. all I can say is the reason it hurts so much right now...is because it was so good before. Anyone raised by good caring parents knows this to be true. So, feel lucky and proud...and always honor his memory. He lives on through you. Be well and take care of yourself!!!
 
I lost my father Christmas day,2005. He was 80 and passed in his sleep. Was still chopping wood for his stove that year, tough guy! Lol. Sorry for your loss. May god give you and your family strength during this time of need! God bless you!
 
So sorry for your loss. Will be saying a prayer for him. Hard to lose a parent and especially on Christmas. ((hugs))
