They were incredible every time that I saw them and just had such positive energy.

I remember seeing them in Toronto at the Air Canada. A guy in the crowd had painted a beastie boys logo onto the back of a blazer and MCA saw it and asked to wear it for a couple of songs, then gave it back.
 
If there was a soundtrack to my life, beasties would have a large block of songs. Paul's Boutique is one of 3 albums I would want if I were trapped on a desert island. They were always ahead of their time, MCAs passing is no different. Major downer.
 
He literally changed the coarse of music and made it possible for people of all shapes, colors, and sizes sing how they wanted to sing. Quite a big loss to the music community.
