Yup I had a feeling that scooter would not live through the night but when the wife came home for lunch and looked in the other tank she found pearl.

Nope no ich and they we both in seperate tanks. I have had scooter since last summer. I think the butterfly was just really stressed.

QT would not have saved him anyway. He was sick at the time of purchase I'm sure of it. I do have a QT tank setup, but these were the only fish that i've added.

Never said that was the reason. I think its important to qt fish in case they would have a disease which may not be nodiceable for a few weeks. In the butterfly case, my guess was stress also.
