ritteri anemone shrunk ?

hi all. i have a ritteri that i bought and was over a foot big. now 3 weeks later is has shrunk way down and hasent gotten as big as when i bought it..
what would cause it not to open up and expand anymore ?

Pics would be helpful. That said, sometimes they shrink a little when their lighting demands are being met... however, usually this is not a good sign. Again, pics would help.

my lights are 4-400w mh.s... i think thats plenty of light???

Generally I'd jump at the chance to say yes, but if you have a 1000 gallon tank that's 5' deep I'd have to change my answer.
I keep mine under 250W MH in a 100 gallon rubbermaid sump at present, which I don't think is quite enough. I'll be moving it to a 45 gallon cube tank soon. Which, I think will do well.

BTW, strong surges are important too.

my tank is a 375 gallon. 8ft long

That should be enough light if you have them spaced every 2'-3'.
