Ritteri ?

Some experts have done under 60g but it's regrettable most of the time. If they can touch the side, you'll end up sad. BTAS are fine though. I have mine in a 210g with 2 BTAS now.

If you don't feed the anemone he will not grow much. However it is difficult for me not to feed my healthy anemone.
A full full grow Magnifica require an area of about 24X24

I was forced to rehome this bad boy. Was able to touch both the front and back glass of this 24" wide tank.

Kept waiting for it to split, but it never did. Very hard to remove something this large (and fragile) without doing damage.

can you please explain why touching the sides is a bad thing?

So if I were to isolate one on a tall pillar in the center of the tank it would be okay? Or would the tentacles touching the glass still be a bad thing

I have a medium ritteri in my jbj 45g and I had to do my rock work sorta like an island to prevent the nem from touching the back wall or front glass, before I did it would always climb the back wall. Like others have said if it's tentacles can touch they will climb.

Magnifica like to be as high up as possible. So, if they can feel anything with their tentacles, presumably they are motivated to move up. Whether one will climb down a pillar as a result or not is impossible to say. My big one did not, but I wasn't willing to take the risk that it might.

Yeah, mine got unhappy when the flow was low due to a dirty power head. Roamed down from his rock and climbed up to the overflow...
