RO booster pump WANTED

So it has come to light that I need to get an Ro/Di Booster pump. I dont have enough pressure to get more than a gallon or two per hour out of my system. Does anyone have one laying around collecting dust that I could borrow or purchase?

Something else to look at. With my Ro/Di setup i had to "Tune" the system to my water pressure for optimum output. My water pressure at my house was over 100 psi and i had to get a regulator to drop it. After you get a pump, you may want to see if there is a procedure you should do for yours. I also added a permeate pump to my system to increase efficiency of the unit and reduce waste water.

Just an FYI, You can run your pressure at higher numbers the membrane can handle very high pressure. The problem comes from the cannisters are only rated at 90 PSI Max so if you exceed that pressure they may start to leak.
We spoke on this very topic at the last club meeting FYI

Larry, what GPD membrane do you have? I have a 100 and with the cold water of this time of year, at a 4:1 ratio, i dont think im getting 50gpd out of it.

I went for the Cadillac of RO/DI systems. It's a Spectrapure Max Cap 90 GPD with the second 90 GPD membrane added. With the booster pump, I fill my 100 gallon water change tub in like 10 hours, maybe even less. The booster pump keeps the input pressure regulated at 80 PSI, providing there is at least 40 PSI available to the pump. It's truly a beautiful thing ;)
I've only been running this set up since late October, maybe early November, so I don't know how much faster (if any) it will be in the warmer weather.

Cool, Guess ill have to save my pennies. the old house had awesome pressure, and this one is at 50 psi right at the unit.
