RO/DI Connections

My RO unit runs off the facuet from the hose outside. it started dribbling water today so i unscrewed the plastic fitting to replace tephlon. Annnd the threads stripped. Does home depot sell these type of things? Possible something better than plastic?

I did'nt have much luck at Homedepot, but I did find a few fittings at Lowes. There was a very limited selection in the Lowes in Waterford but I managed to get things to work. For the actual fittings on the RO housing I had to order them. mcmaster-carr is where I ordered from, I got some nice metal fittings that worked instead of the plastic.

Sorry what is the brace? Is that the one that pierces the pipe?

Home Depot on the main road by exit 61 rt15 in Hamden should do the trick. I get all my RO/DI plumbing from Lowe's, there's one in New Haven and in Orange on Rt1. Kitchen faucet section should have everything you need from T's, Ball Valves, tubing, etc
