RO/DI installation question

I just got my Coralife Pure-Flo2 and the plastic garden hose connector doesn't work well. I've got a faucet diverter valve that has a 1/4" outlet on it but the Coralife inlet tube is 3/8". I can't find any good way to hook this thing up. Anyone got a good idea how to hook it up without modifying the under-sink plumbing?

Go to Home Depot and get an adapter?

It would be that easy if I were in the states but I'm in Germany and the closest Bauhaus is a bit of a drive. I tried lookin for a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter but didn't find anything that looked like it would work.
