Roadtripping to Syracuse next Sat 6/19

Thousand appologies for not being available. I was Mr. Mom yesterday and had my hands full with the baby. She was in "a mood" for sure. The weather was, no doubt, the culprit.

I'm glad to see you guys made it back and didn't drive off a cliff holding hands....

Great day. Thanks to all! (including the driver that so patiently put up with a few misreads from the copilot lol)

TOTALLY DITTO ON THE GREAT DAY!!!! Thank you SO MUCH for everything Pascal and kudos to ABC Reefs for making an awesome deal on some great pieces for me!!!!!

let's see...what's the famous quote from the trip....oh yeah:

"oh look, such a pretty house...oh, look at the lake....

BENSON!"

:uzi:

all good, Mel. If you can put up with two hours of "campfire stories" i can certainly entertain navigational mishaps of a few seconds!!!!!

:) good times.

I think Thelma and Louise were actually a little smarter......i'll go back to being quiet again.....:reading:

It's a really nice clip. Everything is coated and soft, magnet has excellent attraction, and to top it off it floats.

I walk it around to the front and pull it up with my finger in the middle which keeps the outside magnet dry. No more fishing for the suction cup clip on the bottom of the tank.

Well worth the money!

My trick in the past has been to tie fishing line around a clip, then tie the other end to a cross brace or part of the hood. This way, you can toss it in and it blows around in the current, then you can pull it back out without having to "fish" for it. Another advantage of this approach is that, IME, when the clip is "loose" like this (i.e. dangling via the line instead of firmly fixed in place on the side of the tank), the fish are more likely to rip off bite-sized pieces of algae instead of "accidentally" tearing the whole sheet out of the clip.

$15 for a plastic clip with a magnet?!? Sheesh! They're little magnet cleaner is expensive too.

You could probably make one with a regular clip, neodynium magnets and some super glue.
