RODI System?

Wanted to gauge what people are doing in the forum with smaller tanks and RODI.

I have a BRS 5 stage RODI unit in storage.

However, my new apartment where the tank will be will have limited space. My girlfriend will kill me with a 50g BRUTE in the kitchen. I suppose I could use a smaller collection chamber too.

Who uses an in house RODI unit on their nanos?

Other options? Distilled/Buy Rodi?

I used to go to the LFS every 2 weeks or more to get 20 gallon of water and bring it to the house(had a 29 now have a 75 DT 15 frag tank 29 display fuge)
I can not say how much i enjoy not having to do that again.
I have 2 trash cans in the spare bedroom closet one for RO and one for Salt water.

I may have to sneak some BRUTES or at least some 10-20gal containers

I've never had a reef without my RODI unit. Right now, that's the plan but it seems pretty cumbersome.

A pressure tank under the sink is a pretty good option

Yea I'm thinking of just something small now. Maybe a couple 5 gallon jugs. With a IM20, I expect one under stand for ATO, one for mixing saltwater for waterchanges, and one for extra RODI water.

My last tank was a 150g, it's hard to imagine I could do a 25% waterchange with a 5gallon jug LOL

A pressure tank under the sink is a pretty good option

It's best not to have a pressurized RO tank feed the DI.
