hrrs... are those onyx going into the hammer and the frogspawn?

They are actually going into both. At different times during the day I find them playing in both the hammer and the frogspawn but at night they split up and sleep in both. I don't know if this is normal but that's what they are doing.

I heard on another board that MarinaP has a pair or more of chrystogasters, can anyone tell me if this is true, I have a friend that is looking for some.

My pair was hosting a large clump of Hairy Mushrooms at Rod's, so I had to purchase that for them as well. They stayed in the mushrooms for quite a while and then found a miniature anemone in a Zoa clump, hosted that as well as a large hammer. I then purchased them a RBTA and they have been there ever since.

Sorry no pic's yet ... still need to borrow the neighbors camera. See I spend too much on SPS at Rod's and don't have enough money left over for a good digital camera!

Okay, I finally have to pic's of my Rod's Onyx Clowns. They are not the best photo's, but they will have to do. Yes Boyd, I used one of the 2 camera's in the house and actually found a Macro button on one of them!

ive noticed that ALL of rods clowns easily host in anemon,mush.torch etc.

ive never met anyone that had his clowns that did not host for them.

embryoguy - I have had the clowns since September of 2005. The pair was already one year old when I got them. Rod stopped by last week and saw them and said they should be starting to lay eggs real soon! I am going to leave the breeding to the expert (Rod) and not mess with that, but it will be cool to see.

FiberLux - Last time I listen to the hubby! I found the Macro button from reading posts on RC ... it's the one with the Flower on it. He was amazed! It still does not take really good coral shots, but the fish did not come out too bad ... I even had a cloudy tank from wrestling with the Kalk Reactor just prior. I will still get a really good SLR ... so no more SPS for me for a while (yea, right).

You should work out a deal with Rod. Put a tile in the tank and sell the eggs/fry to Rod. More Onyx for everyone!

They are not quite as large as their parents yet, but I guess they are getting close.

Nope, the male will never develop his last white stripe ... crazy clown!

I must say that the colors on my new Onyx seem to be changing daily. I notice that the black is shading in more and more. It's really cool.
