Most of you saw these in my other thread but wanted to add them to the "Official Rod's Onyx" thread...

Enjoy!

Lucy and Ricky, the day after I received them from Rod which was about 3 months ago...

I know that the pics only show the left side of the fish but they were not being cooperative. I will say that both have colored up completely and neither have any misbars. They are just a beautiful couple! Thanks Rod!

I just picked up a new Australian Anemone for my mixed Onyx/Picasso pair and they seem to be really enjoying it. Here's a couple of photos..... As always, please excuse my lousy photos!

Very nice pic, what type of camera are you using?
Sorry to just now respond, its an 8.1 megapixel Casio Exilim EX-750. Its got great best shot settings, and this is the macro one called "flowers".
This shot was taken at high resoultion.

Tony, they get along great these days, but they sure didn't at first! I was just stupid and thought they'd be happy campers in a 180......

my pair is nesting, I hope to start seeing eggs anytime now. wish I could give pics, but my camera is broken.

now... when you say nesting... is that the picking at the rocks in the same area all the time...

mine are fairly small (about 2" and 1") but they have been eating like pigs lately and are always swimming under the overhang by their hosts picking at randomness... could this be considered nesting even at their small size?

yeah they have picked an area under the frogspawn they are hosting and they are cleaning it non stop.
I wish I could post a pic. the frogspawn is the size of a basket ball and they just look awesome when they are hosting in it.

man i wish my torch and frog would grow like that... considering i just fixed my SG problems i hope itll come soon

the frog is the oldest coral in my tank. it's pushing 7 years this summer. I have found that they like sluggish waterflow the most. just enough to make the tentacles wave around a little.

My frogspawn isn't doing so well, it's one of my first corals. Hopefully it'll be fine in a few weeks....my Rod onyx hosts just about anything....EXCEPT a RBTA! lol

well heres hoping for my torch and frogspawn...

for an update i got this guy in Feb... i think i posted a pic back then... here is the updated pic.. i actually took the pic for the torch in it, but the clown was a cam hog...
