They host in a variety of things in my tank. The larger pair(I called them a pair because they're always together) host in sabae anemone which I bought probably 4 months ago.
This pair is slow in color but were the first ones to complete their third stripe. The black is filling slowly but surely. You can also see some of the dorsal spines are black. I think they're more black since these pictures were taken.
The smaller pair seem to like the Goniopora. But the goniopora and I are not too happy about it. The goni retract the tentacles when the clowns are too rough on it.
This pair, though smaller, have complete their coloration and stripes. The black actually came in before the third stripe was fully developed. You can see the top left clown third stripe is still finishing up connecting on the edges.
I just bought an Aussi Elegance coral a couple days ago and the smaller clowns seem to love it and the elegance don't mind at all. This is good because it gives my gonia break and can extent their tentacles to look more like a goni. The smaller pair seem to go back and forth between the elegance and the goni. But they sleep in the goni at night. If the Aussi elegance thrive for the next 3 months or so. I'll add another one and to replace the sabae.
I've seen my clowns play in the large clam, hammer coral, and my toadstool. They don't necessary stay their for long but hover above it and occasionally dive in the toadstool.
Sorry for all the details.

I do look at my clowns very closely.
