Okay, so I was wondering which species Rod's Onyx clowns are. I'm interested in a carpet anemone/clownfish combination and was wondering if his clowns would be an okay symbiote. Thanks.

But, if this is for your 12 gallon tank in your sig...personally I think that is too small for any of the hosting anemones.

Good deal, all of my carpets ( Haddonis ) would be huge in a 12 gallon.

Rod's Onyx may use a haddoni carpet as a host, but it's not their natural host. Gigantea carpets are their natural host.

From my personal experience Rods clowns will host anything & everything. They are little hosting bandits.

what are your opinions bout a carpet in a 30 gallon?

it would be the "center-piece" depending on where it wanders

I know it would be difficult to keep other coral w/ it

I don't know if it would be worth the hassle in such a small tank
