Roger,

I have (3) 6100 Streams which the constant alarm beep sound goes off on... Three of them, I do have others and have tried other drivers and transformers to no avail... I dunno if I need new impellers or what I need to do, was hope in you could help me get these 3 working again, any and all help is greatly appreciated...

Are all the impellers the newer single piece ones without the brakes? Have you swapped an impeller from a known good one?

i'll have to double check on what kinda impellers are in these, but I also haven't swapped in a known good impeller, I will do that and reply back to see what happens... Hopefully, its just an easy fix...

Didnt get a chance yet, But after my son awakes from his nappy nap, I am gonna work on the swap out and see what happens...

Well I swapped out an impeller from a working 6100 and the same thing happened, just an instant alarm sound... The two impellers were a different style to if it makes a difference, I dunno which kind is which though to describe it to ya's....

Can a pump it self just crap out and send out an instant alarm, or is it something that IS fixable no matter what ??? Just wanna know if I have three junk 6100's or fixable ones.... More then happy to fix them and get em back into service, ASAP if possible :D

Thanks,
Keith

Yes, the pumps are likely dead, they have some electronics inside which communicate with the driver and sound the alarm and regulate speed. A 6100 would be 5-10 years old and it would not be too unusual at this age for an electonic/controllable pump to fail. Unfortunately these motors are no longer made, the only course is to find good used motors on eBay, etc or to order the 6105 upgrade kits sold as part 6100.015 on our site. Essentially the kits are a complete 6105 without the magnet holder, they instead include an adapter clamp to fit an existing rail or magnet holder from your older pumps. They also do not include the wide flow housing that comes with a new 6105.
