I don't miss having a canopy. My light hood is suspended with height adjustable PFO cables. Instead of running return lines above the aquarium I ran the return lines inside the aquarium. I access the tank from the kitchen side. I built a bookshelf into the light canopy, and have a sump and all the misc components under the tank in a cabinet. I'll need to take a newer pic for all that.
