My rose split, well at least i think he split. instead of splitting in half like its done many of time's it looks as if it split from top to bottom? Does that make sence? I did go out last night and have a few drinks but im not seeing things! It really looks as if there is a top with tenticals and a mouth and a bottom that looks just like a foot with no tenticals and a mouth. At first i thought it was already expelling but its been this was for a few days now. Its alive and moving, its moved from behind the rocks to the top and now somewhat back to the bottom of the tank. Is this possible?

I guess i could have added pic's..
sorry for the quality, i turned the lights on just to take a few pic's so everything is stressed.

this is the foot only that keeps moving

Barring mechanical injury, I haven't seen that type of split.

There was no injury that i am aware of. It has been in the same spot and split many times. I dont know what is going on this time but both sides are alive, im not sure how well there doing but there alive. The top half looks great and doesnt look stressed throughout the day, the bottom half has been moving around the last few days. The top seems to grab but cant hold on? Any ideas?

I think I may have seen something like this before. It may be a way of budding, the top pops off and attaches some where else and the foot re-grows a top to make two. But I don't have any hard proof. Keep an eye on it and keep us updated!

I saw a thread on this a while back, it happened to someone's condy. The foot completely detached, sorry to say I 'm not sure if it made it. Keep us updated for sure.
