sad day for our dog

Here's to our Cuddles dog which died last night. She was only 8 and they are not sure what happened to her. After the storm and all the water flowing so high every where, she went outside about 10pm and after she came in threw up several times and by midnight she could not move so we rushed here to the dog emergency center and once we got there she was in a coma and died at 4:30am. They really do not have an answer for us. They Felt it was more than house hold poison or lawn sprays not sure what......It has really puzzled us. It has been a sad 24 hours.

Malissa, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember this little doggy and how she would snap at me. Do you still have your Dalmatian? It is strange how she died. May you all find comfort in the memories of Cuddles.

Sorry to hear that, no snake bite on her by chance with all the water they could have ended up in several backyards.

Oh Malissa, that's very sad. We talk all the time about our Fish and other "animals", but Dogs are more like people, than pets.

Indra & I are very sorry for your loss.

A snake bite would make since but we did not see a bite, could still be possible

That sounds like what happened to my Sabrina...her intestines had ruptured ..no explanation how or why ..she was happy one minute and throwing up the next and dead 6 grueling hours later. We did $600.00 worth of heroics and lost her anyway ..I truly feel your pain...
I was a sniffling idiot for days after she died ...it is amazing how much you can love an animal...

yeah, me too... :(

i am hurting for you,,, it's soooo difficult to deal with the death of a much loved pet...

about 2 years ago i lost two kitties that i had for 14+ years within 6 months of each other....:( (i still get emotional thinking about them...)

i called in to work for 2 days crying and bawling, told them i wasn't going to be in.. it didn't matter to me whether it was excused or not, an unscheduled absence or what, i couldn't function.....

they were my family.....

You didn't beach that lovely creature, did you??!!

The shark? yes I did.

Well.....
It's all right, I understand. Why trust a shark, right?

Right, then. The meeting has officially come to order. Let us all say the pledge..

I am a nice shark, not a mindless eating machine. If I am to change this image, I must first change myself. "Fish are friends, not food".

(Yes, we're sorry about cuddles Malissa.)
