Salty Critter and local reefer pics

Been out and about shooting stills of tanks, volunteering for more if any of you want it. Still trying to get fish shots down which has been a challenge for me, but it's coming along.

Hope you enjoy! They take time to buffer, best to let the salty critter ones cycle through once. Let me know if you see issues with your browsers or anything.

Local Tank Shots

Jim, the pics were from yesterday, i.e., they have NICE stock right now!! I don't mind a road trip to Kent, so, maybe at some point we could set it up.

Not sure where in Cleveland you are - I am in Parma - you are more than welcome to come play with my tank.

You are more than welcome to come shot me 300 gallon setup. Ton of life in my tank with some really cool fish. I live in Olmsted Township. Ben

Thanks guys....shoot me email at amy.mcbride@adelphia.net with your phone numbers, and, what nights of the week might be good over the next few weeks. I'd love the practice, and love seeing other's tanks.

Here is a little show-off from Aquatic Technology, did some shots there today that I posted now also.

Local Tanks and Shops

i will absolutely not go back to buy anything from aquatic technology, they are WAY overpriced, rude, and their shop looks like junk, maybe once they make it look the way salty has theirs look then they will be worth the hour drive for me

Hey guys, thanks for all the emails, I'll start calling you all soon to setup times. Can't wait to see more tanks, I've only seen a handful around town.

Can I ask that comments on AT go into another thread?

I'm using a mix of cameras, Canon XTi with sigma 17-70macro, tiny little Sony Cybershot, old panasonic and ancient Kodak (one of the first digi's to come out, with probably best quality I've ever had). Still saving for the best of the best macro lenses for my Canon.

I hope you know it is rude to bad mouth local fish stores

No store is perfect but if you need something in a pinch it helps to have them around

Later

Amy very nice pics and videos and it is rude to bash lfs and I can actually remember a time when AT was the only real store to go to

Thanks you two for being more clear on the innuendo I was getting at!!!

Visited Tropical Aquarium finally today, nice place..the rays knocked me out. And, I bought a beauty of a little dwarf lionfish. When you view the 'automated' slideshows, you kind of have to wait for the 10 or so pictures to load once, and then they'll show in full..

More Tanks Added

Does anyone have any of these little guys by chance? Just wondering how resilient box fish are, care of them, etc.. I keep resisting, but....

Here's another one from Greg's(AT)
