Sanjay's Black Photon Clownfish

Did anyone pick these up, here?

There were on DFS, for about 20 minutes, and poof. Sold.


Here's a photo of them.

Now THESE are beautiful, in my eyes. Where else can these be purchased besides DFS?

I believe one the parents are a true perc and the other a "true" onyx, I think that's what the description said.


And they're not very expensive at all.

The thing is Sanjays male died after only a few fish were raised I dont think there is any other place besides dfs that has them. When they are gone thats it.

I been trying to get another pair off dfs but im not fast enough...

Anyplace that sells them besides DFS is what I'm really trying to get at. Because a place that sells them, will know what their offspring of.

Oh really!? Than you would think these pairs would be hella expensive.

Not sure if this is a good idea, to post on such a huge public forum. Simply because I don't know of any other sources out there, that still sell these.

Let's just put it this way, they're cheaper than Picasso's. (sadly)

I also saw them on DD, they were very nice, also I was surprise by their price but at the same time I was glad that they were so affordable compared to other ones.

I bought a pair tonight. I think these are beautiful fish. I've wanted to own a rarer pair of clowns that I still thought were attractive. Snowcassos and latz just don't do it for me. I'm going to keep these guys in a dedicated tank with the hope of continuing the line.

From DFS? I saw that pair on there too, tonight. I thought the ones pictured (above) look a lot better, IMO.

How can they vary so drastically?

The pair tonight each had incomplete bars, which may or may not fill in. After looking at Sanjays site, these guys seem to change quite a bit as they get older.

Still not sure what you mean.

Snowflakes sell for "more" than $150 a pair.

Grade A Picasso's sell for "more" than $150 a pair.

Sanjay's sell for $150 a pair.


The wording is what confuses me. If it were more specific, I'd have an easier understanding.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I paid $400 for my snowflakes pair, and paid $200 for my picassos so i meant they were cheaper than what i paid for my clowns.
