SaraB's 268 Gallon Build¦ Try #3!

Gary ,

What camera ,lens and set up do you use? if you don't mind asking
tanks

The most recent fish room photos are Sara's. The coral and fish photos are mine. My current camera is the Canon 7D. Most of the coral shots are done with the Sigma EX180 macro lens, some with extension tubes. Most of the recent fish shots are done with the 135L lens and an extension tube. Flash is used for fish shots.

Gary, those pictures are amazing. You pick up so much more with a camera than we can with our own eyes.

Very nice setup you have going Sara!

Thanks, need to spend some time photographing your corals again. Got some nice shots the last time.

Sara - I've enjoyed following your thread and picking up new ideas - beautiful tank, scaping, and engineering. Unfortunately, you've "set the bar" very high for new reefers like myself. Could you provide more details on the "back wall shelves" mentioned in posts 561-563? Thanks!

Sara, what kind of lighting are you going to use for the new cube tank? Is it going to have a canopy or be open?

I'm using Marineland's new 24hr lighting system which is a MH, T-5 and moonlight fixture that mounts on the top of the tank, so no canopy. They had them on display at MACNA. See the box below:
