SaraB's 268 Gallon Build¦ Try #3!

Yes, I saw those Strawberry Shortcake acros! I have a frag from Live Aquaria already otherwise I would have jumped on a piece!

Got a few new goodies for the tanks this week. I got some corals in from WWC and Reef Odyssey and also some Vortechs.

The MP10's are for the cube and the MP40W is a second one for the 268G

I need pics of the rest of the goodies ;).

Geez, I'm getting hit from all angles now ... I'll try and snap some pure amateur photos later of my new coral goodies for you boys! ;)

FINE!!! :worried2:

Here's a collection of 17 new corals I picked up from Richard, Ian and WWC over the past few weeks. The SPS have lost some color as I had some parameters shift a bit while on vacation as a power outage shut down my 2-part dosing pumps.

I also moved some of my favia's, ricordea and a couple other items over to the new cube. I added some additional sand last night and tonight I got the 2 vortechs installed and added the lighting.

Wow Sara, as usual you went big! Looks like you picked up a bunch of gems and coming from those vendors I know that the are primo. What are the two chalices in the middle and is that an Oregon Mummy Eye on the right? Sweet!

Oh and thanks for giving into the peer pressure hehehe.

LOL - I usually cave in when that amount of the peer pressure starts!

I had some trade credit with Richard, so that helped with quite a few of the pieces!

Yes, that is the Oregon Mummy Eye I got from Ian. My 1st piece got stung and died last year :( Those other ones are Jason Fox corals ... some watermelon and something else.

My days of "big" are over for a while ... the hubby lost his job last week so I have to limit my spending to what I can recover in frag sales. I need to stock the new cube with some fish, so I'll be fragging tonight for a local swap coming up in June!

We'll remember that!

Again fantastic pick-ups and Richard is such a cool dude. Sorry to hear about your hubby's job :sad2: This economy just sucks but everything always works out for the best in the end. I'm sure he'll get hooked up with something bigger and better soon. Happy fragging.
