Sargassum Trigger Appetite :)

How often should I feed my tank with these six fish? I'm currently feeding once a day. Frozen mysis or Rod's Reef Nano blend.

**I'm feeding a small cube about 1/2 size of the packaged cubes.

The Sargassum eats like a pig, but everyone else eats too. The food is totally gone in probably one minute.

Should I consider target feeding the trigger something meaty daily?

I've got a 93g cube with six fish, LR and soft corals. 2" sand bed. Protein skimmer in sump. All levels are good, tank has been up for 5 months and doing great

5" Sargassum (Red Tail) Trigger
3" Golden Angel
3" meleagris Leopard Wrasse
1.5" Yellow Coris Wrasse
1.5" Tailspot Blenny
1" Yellow Rose Antenna Goby w/ Candy Striped Pistol Shrimp

If the fish are healthy there is no reason to change anything. The trigger will eat as many times as you feed

Yes the trigger will eat until your out of food. I would drop a piece of table shrimp in one corner of my tank and feed the rest of the tank in the opposite corner just to give everyone else a head start.
Your gonna have to watch that trigger in a tank that size he could snap and kill half your occupants. Sargassums are one of the most peaceful triggers out there but in a tank that size it's still a trigger and won't be happy for long

I've had mine now for a little over 3 months. He's a model citizen, doesn't bother anybody even though he's much bigger than them all.

He's always hungry and gets a little rambunctious at feeding time. He'll stick half his body out of the water when the food is offered.

A very cool fish with a TON of personality.

It's a 93g cube.

He's about 5". The biggest fish in the tank by far.

He's prbly too big for my cube tank, but he's fat and (I think) happy.

If I could get him out I'd consider giving him away or trading him in.

BUT...if you have a bigger tank, and you like triggers, I think they make a great choice!!
