Thanks prop! The move did go well! I just need to get my controller fully functional again and it should be all good.looking good. Love the wrasse in that last shot.
Hope your move goes well.
Thanks hatfielj! Sounds like some great dimensions! I almost purchased my tank from Coast to Coast and would certainly recommend them.Love this tank! I'm going to be starting up my 40 x 26 x 22 from Coast to Coast very soon. I plan on doing a very similar aquascape. Keep the pics coming!
Thanks Izzy! This is the last shot of the sump that I have. It really hasn't changed since I've moved but I'll try and take another one at some point as well as the control center on the left side of the tank. It's a huge mess of wires right now though.Awesome looking tank, very clean and well thought out! Do have an pics of the sump and inside the cabinet? Would love to see it.
Thanks hatfilj! That's what I tried to go for. There's a little bit of mixing across the islands but thats just due to the halide being directly in the middle.Yeah, I really like this tank. I'm going to be doing a very similar aquascape in mine too. I like the idea of having the small island of rock with all zoos/palys and keeping the big island all SPS.
I do like the mp40! It's kind of noisy but nothing compared to my return and skimmer. I still need to install the new pump I bought as well...updates?
how do you like your mp40?
is it noisy?
can't decide between that or a tunze 6095 for a tank that is the same size as yours.
Thanks hias6n! Those sound like great dimensions toohi!
love your tank!
and i think ist really clean ;-)
waiting for mine 40x28x20!
greetings from austria
Thanks jackson!!Really nice setup! Good job![]()
Thanks Ashr!tank looks great!
I use lagoon mode at 100%. I used to use reef crest but felt there was too much time where it was running at a low percentage.wich mode do you use your mp40?
run mine on reefcrest actually?!
Thanks! I had the same problem, I bought mine as a pair and the male only made it about a day after I brought him home. The female turned into a male with about 2-3 months so I don't think I would ever recommend buying a male online or in an LFS because I've read a lot of people have had the same experience.Nice shot of the flame wrasse. My wife wants one so bad. Fish store ordered one in for me, but he didn't survive through their QT.
Thanks! The flame wrasse can be pretty tricky to photograph...Nice shot! I know how hard fishy shots can be...so well done on that shot.
