Join us for a field trip to visit Ecoxotic's lifestyle showroom. There they have several beautiful tanks that have been thriving fior some time under LED. Ecoxotic plans to show us why the future of this lies in the advancements of LED lighting. Lunch will be catered and drinks will be provided. Bring your bodies, appetite, and most of all, your crystal ball. You will see the future!

Keep in mind that this is an SCMAS Member only event!

Way up there???? You mean donw there. It just east of Carlsbad off the 78 freeway. Very close to South OC on the North side of San Diego County.

Haha, yah my bad. I just googled San Marcos and saw the 15 freeway... assumed it was somewhere above Riverside! I've never been down to San Marcos before. It's still 70 miles from me either way...

Just so I understand this correctly... If I want to go down there with my wife, we both need to become members of SCMAS? I just want to go on a tour of the place I bought my fixture from. I'm not really interested in joining this, or any other club. I might be willing to swing the 30$, but needing a membership for both of us would be too much $.

Although we do not require someone to be a club member to attend meetings, we do require it for special events. The up side is that a single membership is sufficient for you and your wife to be eligible for most if not all of our special events for the calendar year. There are some special events that are worth the price of the membership by themselves.

Great. Count me in! I checked the SCMAS website and it looks like you need to register and pay by check. I'm going to drop you an email right now, given the short time before event. Hopefully I can just work out details with you through email and I can deliver cash/check the day of the event.

All I can say is that LED's are here and now. Hopefully we can get some pics posted for those that missed it. The after-party at Stone Mountain Brewery was sweet as well. That place is definitely a sight to see.
