Ok i think i got it now............. Bello is too lazy to share the link and Scott would rather sit back and let his mate biggles roll the dice with the Mods posting that link...........

Do you run all your pumps on the back wall Scott with three viewing sides clear, interested in how you get the flow to the front and with what if you could give me a brief rundown on any flow challenges you came across trying to cover the 4ft span without opposing pumps as per standard setups. If you need to post a link to explain - i ain't doing it ! :crazy1: :p

How did you know I was thinking that biggles :lolspin: you must be a mind reader my friend ;)

Yes mate I run all my pumps on my back wall with all 3 viewing sides clear. I have 2 Tunze 6205 and then I also have my return coming out either side of the weir also, now the 6205 do a pretty good job of pushing water around and add the return in and it makes it even better. The amount of flow I have at the front of the tank is one of my best flow areas. Due to my rockwork having that big what I call a valley when looking from the front, the water hits the front glass with good force and funnels through that valley and pushes back towards the central weir and I test this quite often as well to see if I'm still getting good flow with the ever growing SPS by watching how the smaller frozen food flows through the tank. I've really been surprised by my flow to be honest mate by now I would of thought I would of had to add some more by now but the 6205 keep holding their own :)

This is too funny

Nice explanation on the flow Scott, interesting . The Tunzes do punch through the water rather well :reading:

Gave me a good laugh bello

Thanks mate and yes the Tunze do a really good job, I have them pulsing at 100% on then completely off so it creates a nice wave motion throughout the tank
