Beautiful Scott I want a frag of each..love that blue polyp nasuta..I need to make a trip to Australia. .
 
Haha lol, if only you could see the smile on me face when I was reading that bud. This is like one of those dreams you don't want to end, I'm glad to be an Aussie and being so close to a world famous reef:beer:. Just do a Google search for 'Scott and Tammy's 4x4 SPS reef' and there are pages of different sites with your tank being shown, your a famous man Scott:celeb1:.

Mo my combo is-
6 ATI blue+
4 ATI coral+
2 ATI aquablue special
2 ATI purple+
2 ATI actinic

Lights run full for 9 hours and 1 hour either side for actinic so 11 in total

Scott did you buy your SPS from the LFS or did you get most from local mates?

Just one that will fit inside a 5kg express post bag mate but I can squeeze a few in it ;)
Most came from my LFS and only the odd piece from mates :)

I'm just making a start on it now Fishy :)

My weekly procedures are as follows mate-

Water changes are 180L every week using Red Sea standard blue bucket salt, when I water change I clean all glass and bracing by hand, siphon the sump of any detritus, clean skimmer cup, top up RO/DI and I clean my back glass and tunze once a month.

I'm dosing using Randy's recipe and my amounts are 500ml of Alkalinity daily, 500ml of Calcium daily, 150ml of Magnesium daily and I've just started hand dosing Potassium a bit more reguarly as I found it's been on the lower side.

I've only ever fed my fish and have never added any sort of coral food. I'm feeding 1 block of frozen plus pellets in the morning and the same again at night, once a week I add some nori for my tangs and foxface just to keep them happy :)

Good stuff bud, I expect it to be better than the last one....the pressure is on:lol:.
Gee that's a lot of calcium, alk and mag but with all those SPS I'm not surprised. What's your procedure for changing the bulbs, do you do them all at once or over the period of days, weeks, months?
