SCUBA Certification

I go deep, cuz thats where the pretty fish are im trying to catch :)

Its one of those conditioning things....after a few hundred dives, you get conditioned to it.

Early on, i'd blow thru my tank in 25 minutes going deep.

Now I can go to 130 on a 28 blend nitrox, hang out for 12-15 minutes, work my way up and still get 60 minutes on the dive...this takes time and many many dives to get to this point.

Yes, i agree deeper isnt always better.

One of my favorite things to do is go somewhere I can just sit on a shelf and watch big stuff come by.

Eventually I'd like a re-breather setup so I can stay down for extended stays :)

I don't think I'll ever get where you are r-ball.

We dove Blue Hole in Belize last week (bucket list thing) 140' foot dive lasted 37 minutes total and only 8 minutes at depth. I know lots of places have lots of life at that depth but it looked sterile in the Hole. Our best dives for critters and coral have been 45-75'.

A closed circuit rebreather also eliminates sound allowing closer proximity to animals.
