Seaweed clip

I have a yellow tang, blue tang, 3 fox faces, sailfin tang in a 125g. I have witnessed the sailfin nip at a scoly of mine on several occasions. They eat all the seaweed within 15 minutes of placing it in the tank. What should I do, more seaweed maybe add another clip at the other end of the tank. Has anyone see those plastic things that go over the seaweed, I suppose that they make it harder for the fish to eat the seaweed so that it lasts longer? perhaps one of these would work, but they didn't have one or know of such a thing at the LFS.

Does seaweed pollute water as much as other forms of food?

Take a walk at Pebble Beach in the fall. But wear a gas mask! That should answer your question about being a pollutant.

On the other question, I have seen a sort of net that suction cups to the inside of the tank and holds seaweed at my LFS. I think if they clean it up that quick, I would feed more at one time. They will probably eat all you will give them, so you will have to judge when enough.

I have one of the clips you are referring to. It has a black plastic mesh that folds over and you insert into the clip. I bought mine for formula 1 and 2 that had the gel binder. Have not thought of using algea in it. Not sure how well it would hold.
