Sebae Anemone Lighting

I've got a sebae anemone that has been doing great for about the last year and a half in my 54G bowfront under a 175W MH at 21" depth.

I'm in the process of upgrading and transferring my livestock over to my 110X, which would put the anemone at 27" depth, but my new t5 setup on the new tank isn't ready yet.

If I move the anemone over and use the old light directly above it, will that be sufficient light for it as a temporary solution until I have my setup on the new tank completed?

Or am I better off just leaving it in the tank & light setup it's used to until the new lights are done? I'd like to get the old tank broken down and gone sooner rather than later, but I can keep it going if it's the best thing for the anemone.

And the clownfish misses her anemone...

I think you might benefit more by letting new tank run, and let your established rock seed any new, and giving new tank at least a little time to stabalize params on top of lighting issue, so I would lean towards waiting.

The new tank has been up and running for about five months now, it's fully cycled, all parameters are on target and stable, clean-up crew is in there and doing well, as are all the fish.

The new tank is basically a FOWLR right now, just waiting on the lights to bring over the anemone and corals. I've got all the corals fragged and sitting on a frag rack in the old tank, which makes the old tank basically a frag and anemone tank at this point. I can keep the corals at the same depth by moving over the whole frag rack, but it's the anemone I'd be concerned about.

Would the additional six inches of depth make that much of a difference in the usable light for the anemone?

I know in my head that patience is the name of the game here, I'm just anxious to get everything moved over and get the old tank gone. So, if the extra depth and therefore lower usable light will cause a problem for the anemone, than I'll sit tight.

I would wait for lights so nem comes in w/ what will be, and hopefully settle once and be done, so yeah, I'd exercise patience.
I would expect your nem may reach up more, maybe, but 175w MH is not super strong, so I'm sure it will be fine.

just incase...

just incase...

just incase my adopted ritteri doesnt make it yall think my lighting would be enough for a sebae?
