I just came accross this old photo of my H.crispa from about 5 1/2yrs ago.
Bleached out petco refugee, measuring in at about 4".
Now she's about 24" fully stretched.

Wow. That makes that Sohal look tiny.

It is tiny. Compare it to the chromis.

Those chromis are huge as well, they've been w/ me over 5yrs as well.
I had no idea when I first bought it that it would get that big, or I wouldn't have gotten an LTA as well that's almost same size.
Had to bump to 180 to keep them, and have coral room.
Nems get a silver a week, and mysis 3x a week.
In over 5yrs I have lost 2 fish to them, both baby blond naso's, and both swam right into nems on intro.
Bummer, but not bad for 5yrs.
I had one naso b4 nems that lasted 7yrs w/ me, and no prob w/ nems for about 3 yrs.

I would have to say clowns probably saved both my nems, since it was b4 this site for me and I had no clue how to care for them.
LFS said they were filter feeders, so for first year and a half I never spot fed them.
The sebae had a pair of clarki's(I had no idea of pairs) in it at LFS, but I only had enough $$ for the sebae and one clark.
After fishing one clarki, and then going for nem, the other clark swam into nems mouth.
OH well the guy said, goodbye to that clown.
I scrambled home and got nem in tank fast as I could, and couldn't believe the nem released the other clark!
It was badly tattered(started to be digested) but alive.
So I got a free clown, and now had a pair that took great care of my nems, always spot feeding them for me b4 eating for themselves.
Too bad as the clarks matured(probably spawning) they became evil to all fish and I had to ditch them.
But yes, I owe credit to those clarks for the first year and a half for sure.
