I've been watching memorials all AM. There was a kid talking about his dad that he lost, and Bush was there. The poor kid wasn't even done talking and this jerk and this jerk turned around and started walking away.

I was on thrid shift then. I remember my girlfriend at the time woke me up and I was in ah staring at the TV for hours.....

I was in a meeting and we walked to the other room to a TV, I thought it was a movie or something.

My daughter was in the pentagon that day. Talk about a tense time for me. Lucky she was in another part of the building.

I remember it very well , I was at work in Avon Lake @ Sunrise Medical cutting some steel, we all heard it on WMMS radio and i went up front ,got the big bosses TV out of his office put it in the cafeteria and the whole place sat there for hours . And he didn't even say a word about the 80 people in the Building doing not one thing that day. Punched out at 2:30 and went straight to my dads house just to hang with him while we watched in horror, and disbelief and I watched HARDENED Firefighter melt that day after they fell. 3 months later he was at a Fire station in the Bronx cooking their meals between shifts. and still goes back to this day.

I bet everyone of us call remember where we were and what we were doing when we first heard or saw the reports that day. I was on jury duty that week and was heading to the courthouse downtown and heard the first radio reports. Figured out somewhat of what was going on and had to decide what to do. Went to the courthouse and reported in, they sent us home shortly after I got there. Spent the rest of the day in front of the TV in shock and disbelief.
