September Collecting Trip!

Hey folks,
The best tides for collecting will be on Saturday, September 16th. It will be best to leave the AMW parking lot by 9:30am. We need to car pool as much as possible from there as there is limited parking at the collecting site.
Directions will be posted in this thread as well once I find a map on line.
Wear old sneakers or water shoes as its a somewhat rocky shoreline with a crab or two.
We're seeing lots of great tropicals right now, so it figures to be a good collecting season.
Please make this a sticky O'Lords of RC mods...
Joe

you can count me in.. Had a blast last year ,very interesting and a fun time.
we caught lookdowns , butterflies, boxfish, puffers, flying gurnards, shrimps, snails, tons of spearing and micro algaes
I'm thinking of bringing some dry ice this time to quick freeze the spearing do you think it will work?

Thank you for the reply. May I ask why you wrote "but I think this is open to LIRA members and their guests only." ?

I can't speak for Chuck, as I am not he, but I believe he saw your location in your profile, and thought he could save you a drive. It wouldn't be right to let you make the trip (it appears that you might have been thinking of coming) from PA only to find that the guest list is very tight ;)

Correct me if I am wrong, but all the times I went, I remember being able to see the bottom 3-4ft
