September Meeting Sat the 2nd

Biscutz, those zoos are very pretty. I hope maybe I'll have something to trade with you. As you can see below I love to collect zoos.

For some trades I'm hoping to bring some zoos, and a green polyped Ora Scripps stag frag (I broke it off accidently about 2 weeks ago, its mounted an looks to be doing well). I think I've also got a colony of GSP somewhere in there to trade.

I can also bring some keyna trees, Anthelia and xenia (2 types) for anybody who wants it. I'll try to post some pictures later.

Also some kenya tree frags I didn't get a picture of.

I've seen photos already of several things I'd be interested in, zoos, chalice, pagoda cup(??).

I would be more then happy to take any unclaimed frags. We are just getting our tank stocked. Especially the Xenia. I tried a piece before and it is the only thing that has not done well. It kinda melted away and still has a few very short pieces trying to come back.

I also have a few zoo frags, and a few mushrooms if any one is interested. I might have a piece of black tube coral. The black version of the sun polyps. I will try to frag a piece off. It is very healthy, opens everyday and eats like a pig.

Can't wait to see everyone there.

Hey guys,

I don't have anymore of the orange zoo frags left. I gave the main frag to Mike, seeing he is our host. I moved a few rock rubbles right next to the large orange and green colony, so I should have a few polyps over there by next month. I still have Kenya Tree Colonies to give away and a few Monti-Digi frags (purple and green) to give away. I will also trade a large red Monti-Digi colony for any other SPS if anyone is willing. This colony is about 4" long and 3" across glued to a 4" piece of LR. Let me know if anyone is interested. (Pics to come when I get home .:) )

Thanks,

Ian

OH NO! Isn't it nuts how they can change overnight!? I hope you can catch yours, good luck! How long have you had him? I only had mine a couple of weeks before he turned.

Ian

He was such a pig I just left the net in the tank for a few hours until he was used to seeing it. Then I put a bunch of krill near the net and he practically swam into it, haha.

Ian ,That's the way the one I have is. He's a pig . I'll try that tomorrow, and I mite try to feed him something tonight that way. He mite go into the net quicker that way tomorrow. Ted

propagation is a wonderful thing... in nature and not necessarily in our little glass (acrylic) cages. Sorry for your luck Ted. What sticks got broken?

The pink tail I had really tore up my digi's. He was swimming around the tank with a dinner plate size colony in his mouth, dropping it from the top of the tank and then doing it again. I almost had to change my shorts!
