Seriatopora losing flesh

Let me give you the background on this:

I decided to try and see if I could do a nice SPS in the upper regions of my tank, so I picked up a frag. A couple weeks later I had a little OD on vinegar and it caused a bacterial bloom which snotted up my system pretty good. Being that the Seri was closest to the powerhead, it acted as a net and caught a few snot strings. I noticed a couple days later after the bloom subsided that it had started to deflesh where the snot had stuck.

It seemed stable when I had to go off for a 3 week work assignment. When I got back, the defleshing had spread little. Not really recovered but nothing serious. That was almost 3 weeks ago. It's gotten worse in the last few days.

Can I stop it somehow, or is fragging a clean area my last option?

Side note: All my other SPS is doing fine, great PE and everything, including a Blue Tort, Sunset Monti, and a misc Scroll. The Tort is coloring up nicely (kinda new) and the Sunset is reaching out off its plug at a decent rate.

Stats:

1.026 via refractometer
Kalk dosed via ATO (yes, in RODI)
Ca - 450ish
Mg: 1400
Alk: 9.3
running 79-80F

4x39W T5s over a 40B, ~6in from the Tort and Seri frags

I "know the basics" for a clean tank, stability, good lighting etc but have never dealt with an issue. Asking for help with this one, I want this piece to make it. I have a good upgrade in lighting coming late next week to replace the T5s (20K BML MCs x2)

Thanks

Since it's near the powerhead, is it getting too much flow? What kind of bird is it? Pink? Greenish with purple polyps? Brown skin with bright green polyps? Any pictures?

Has your Alk been stable?

Here's a less than stellar shot, but you get the idea despite the DOF.

My parameters have been fairly stable for a while, this really popped up immediately following the vinegar surge and bacterial bloom following.
