Setting up a 180

Man...I really need to learn how to take pictures:rolleye1: They looked good in preview.

I am going to leave things alone for awhile and look forward to some coral growth.

The clowns are still to shy to get pictures of, but both are eating well, the biggest clown will take pieces of shrimp from my fingertips and then feed it to the GBTA....very cool:D

I think something went on between the 2 peppermint shrimps:eek1: One looks a little plump:lol:

Hey there, I finally finished the front facade, I used what is called a "Pocket Door". Basically the top flips up and the gets pushed back following a track.

the wave 2k looks nice its doing the job. your tank looks good too since you where able to close up all the wood work. kudos!

Thanks CustomColor! It may have taken awhile but it is finally done and painted. Now I can't wait until March;) Hopefully I will be able to pick up some nice frags.

i cant wait neather to go to fosters and smith for that meeting :) it will be 2 months befor the one at my house so i better pick up some nice stuff :) im hoping to have a few small frag tanks set up by then too. im getting a bigger pump for the return and it will also run the frag set up and fuge. so i will be selling my 4 month old mak 4 soon.

Paul, everything is looking really nice. If you are thinking about another PBT in the future, you may want to research Marine Velvet and keep in mind that the PBT is one of the worst to get it. I only know this after having it happen in one of my aquariums due to a PBT.

Hello there strayvoltage, You are so right, I envy everyone who is able to keep one healthy (NanoGurl has a beautiful Powder Blue).

I have seen several now at LFS's covered in white fuzz, starved and other forms of ill health. I have changed my mind about getting another PBT and for now will stick with the fish I have(except maybe a sixline and copperband;) )

Thanks for posting!

Painted? Where's the pics!? ;)

It's only got one coat of paint so it's not so impressive, I am waiting for my wife to finish painting it so I can put the hardware back on.

Pics will be coming soon:) Thank you!

about the mak 4, i thought of you when i waws thinking of selling it do to the noise yours is making :) thats y i said something.
i havent done much to the tank latley but try to make the filter better and clean up the basement and keeping the tank clean and healthy. heck i still need to do the tile work to the stand yet! the frags i will be starting with will be zoa's and green line mushrooms. all the coral in my tank are doing good now.
you always can redo the tank. all you need is a 100 stock tank to store your rock and fish in and pull the tank. lot of work but u never know.. may be i shouldnt have said that.. i think i just gave you an idea
my wife wants a pbt in our tank but i may wait till the f and s run and hope they have one because like you have said the quality of them around here aint the best.

Thanks CustomColor, You are very thoughtful about the pump and whenever your ready to sell it let me know:D

Re-do my tank....Hmmmmm:lol:

I better wait on that, the misses would not be very happy with me taking it all apart; especially having just finishing it:eek2:

Thank you NG! It is indeed good to be back

Hello again NG:) If I lived in the same state and within 100 miles closer to where you live I most certainly would:lol:

It is not hard to do but I did make a mistake and had to re-drill 2 holes for the hinges
