I hope we can find some good deals at this months meeting Customcolor:)

If your looking for something in particular, I'm sure you'll find it!! ;) Oh, and the store usually has some decent deals also...

Awww... sorry to hear about your fish. Its probably a lot better though that you got rid of those two sooner then later. I hope you find your other one :/

Hey NG...Thank you....unfortunately no luck in finding it so far:(
And thank you for visiting here too....I know you are very busy lately:)

Aww... you're welcome =)

How has the humidity issue been for you so far now that you've had your tank up and running for a long time. I remember you saying before things were great... any changes?

Thanks Reeftanks6, I can't wait until all the corals start to fill out though.

Thanks to you too NG, humidity has not been a problem this winter but I will have to put a ventilation fan in this spring.

I have a new addition today, I purchased a copper banded butterfly. It looked very healthy and aware at the LFS and after placing it in my tank it looked very happy. Over the last hour, It checked out all areas in the tank and has made pals with the blue tang.

Both Clowns are now in the carpet anemone, Blenny is doing well and the blue tang has looked nearly spot free over the last 10 days. I am very happy with this tank and after next weekend I should have more additions :D

nice! its nice to hear your having better luck now :) but i got some bad news. i wont be upgrading my pump with the big dolphin pump i got. so i wont be selling you the mak4. sorry!
but on the good note. when in have the meeting at our house i will have lots of zoo frags to sell off. nice bright ones :) like these

Woohooo! You're a lot braver then me! I love the CBB's. Photos!! Congrats on everything it sounds like the tank is really coming along =)

Hey CustomColor That is not a problem with the pump, sometimes things change and we can't go with our intended plans.

Sweet zoas for sure! Can't wait to see your tank in person:)

Thanks NG! I know all about CBB'S...I read on how difficult they can be to get acclimated and to get started eating. He has been in my tank about 30 hours and still looks good, I have been feeding extra mysis shrimp but I have not seen him actually eat any:(
He has been picking at the rocks since he has been in the tank but only picked at one aptasia that I have seen. My wife saw it picking at the rocks the few times she checked on the tank today.

If he refuses to eat another day I am going to pick up some live brine shrimp and load them up with selcon and see if it will eat them.

Here is a group shot...

And a anemone and clowns shot....

I still might add 1 more fish.....A small naso tang maybe.
Then it's just going to be coral additions from there....?

I finally saw my CBB eat this evening:P It ate 2 small aptasia's and has been extremely determined to find food off the live rock and sand.

Last night I fed some Rod's Reef and CBB ate one small particle of food...That I saw, but I now see some black dots on it's fins:mad2:

Also the blue tang has got some white spots again...I no longer think either of my 2 cleaner shrimp are interested in cleaning anything anymore:(

I know everyone says to leave cleaner wrasses in the ocean but after visiting a couple of LFS they all seem have one of them for sale...After talking to a person at one of the lfs; I think they are a better choice to have with CBB and the blue tang because a cleaner wrasse is a more aggressive cleaner than the cleaner shrimp I have.(I saw it cleaning in action)
The only concern is getting it to eat frozen foods once it has eaten all the parasites.

Is my thinking correct on this??? Or should I wait and see how bad this ich attack is going to get?

How about some CBB pic's.....

I was hoping for more growth from my corals
but I guess they are growing at a pretty good rate:)

Big tanks are nice but takes so many corals to fill
it up:mixed:

Looks Good, Nice to hear about the CBB eating. Apparently if you feed the aiptasia the food that your CBB eats then they will eat the aiptasia, this was what a CBB breeder said to do and it was mentioned on the podcast that cannot be named. My cleaner wrasse loved frozen food but rarely cleaned fish i think if they are to be kept, they are for large tanks only.

Thanks Kar93, my CBB is looking very good and is a very good rock and sand pest cleaner:) He is turning out to be a very favorite to watch fish...He likes to tease the clowns into chasing him and then stops and glares at them.

My cleaner wrasse was happy and eating really well but after one week it disappeared:( I looked everywhere for it...I did see it going near the carpet anemone to clean the clowns....it would be a shame if it lost it's life to it:(

I have had 2 cleaner wrasses and i noticed they hid in the rocks for 2 days and then i go in the next morning and they are dead on the sand :(
