Sexiest piece of SPS?

Having recently seen the Pearlberry in person, I would definitely have to agree that it's one of the nicest looking sps.

I like my Acropora Awi (think it's awi). It's hard to find nice looking colors who are brown:) I like the brown-blue combination.

That A. Grunolsa looks nice, but I prefer pictures with full lighting. To take the pictures in only actinic/blue is almost cheating if you ask me :)

That is a awesome looking piece!!!! I need to find me one of those.

I like Garf's bonsai too. I like things that are really vivid and stay vivid when they grow up! I've noticed that something look different when they are little frags vs grown colonies.

 Agreed...Nice pic BTW.

Some beautiful corals whe nthey grow out are the Bio-Hazard from Rocky Mt. Frags, E-corals Unknown acro, Ultimates Unknown Acro, Upscale Microcladus, and the Ultimate's Rainbow Acro.

Wow, thats really beautiful. I dont like my corals having any brown colouring, but that is clearly an exception. Thats mighty beautiful! What T5 combo were you running when that photo was taken?

The main SPS I like particularly are: the Strawberry shortcake and the Echinatas: Both the Aussie variety and the Icefire. I also like the Hawkins "Echinata" (Turaki). ORA Borealis is also another of my fav.

So hard to choose with out physically seeing them! All we run is a 400 watt radium. I am liking the biohazard and will probably get that one. Do you think the pearlberry will pop under our lighting?

I take it Im the cheater

I understand, but in my defense you can only take full light pictures if you have full light over your tank
Out of 6 bulbs, I have 1 day, rest assured I did turn the dawn/dusk mode off, but still left me with a 2:1 ratio. So unless I screw out two bulbs each time I want to take a picture, I guess Im destined to cheat

Btw, I like to post pics of what you would see if you were in my home looking at my tank yourself, not what a coral might look like if I took it out of the tank and held it up to the sun or a flash light for you ;) But that's just me, Im more of a 20k kinda guy I guess, cheers!

i have seen far worse. yours looks like an accurate actinic pic and everybody cheats unless they're using real sunlight

To the OP, it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for different growth structures the caroliniana or granulosa would do. One of the Bali Deepwaters would also be your ticket. Personally I'm in love with bi-color millis right now.

In your second picture, what is that green mat towards the front left of the tank? Btw your tank looks amazing!

We have an ORA Red Planet. I really want something that is multicolored. Tyree IceFire Echinata is nice. We have a Hawkins Blue Echinata which is currently my favorite other than our Miami Hurricane.

I like the strawberry shortcake... reminded me of this Diablo Millepora. I think I would like a mille of some sort for the growth pattern.
