that's always the million dollar question.

a few months ago i spoke with the guys that run aquarium works (in NoHo) about a local meet/swap and they seemed open to the idea. that was a few months ago though. they'll actually be at the masvc swap, so i guess i can ask them there when i see them since i'll be there as well.
 
I'll be at the swap so come by and introduce yourself. I'm the tall guy sharing a booth with Fantastic Frags.

Porter Ranch here...I'll put up pics of my new 36x30x24 tank shortly. John at advance acrylics did an amazing job on it including a perfect sump.

If I am invited, I'll be sure to come. Studio City/Sherman Oaks is pretty central to me...but anywhere from Glendale to Encino is pretty easy.

Nice, and welcome! I was thinking of buying one of John's premade sumps he sells on Ebay, but probably should go custom. Can't wait to see yours.

BTW: I am ashamed I had to look up where Porter Ranch was. I guess I no longer deserve to be a part of the SFV club... ;)

That would be the greatest club meeting ever. A dozen people could help you upgrade your tank while offering a dozen opinions on each thing you should do. ;)
 
Well I'll be at the swap tomorrow. My name is Richard and I should be wearing a grey t-shirt with a big orange power-on symbol on the front. I am asian with short hair. Say hi if you see me! Haha. We can all discuss plans for the SFV club. And finally get some good reef action going on up here.

I'm in the Antelope Valley, but I grew up in the valley (does that count :lol: ) and would be up for something in the San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valley area :) You can count me in. Didn't post pics...my tank is prolly the size of some of your sumps!
 
Well I don't have that many anymore. I managed to sell a bunch on another site. But frag swap sounds good for what I have left. Oh and when should we meet?
