Here is a picture update, this is the best we could do with our cheap macro lens. Turned out ok for free hand macro shots on a cheap lens I would say.
The tank is definatly turning into more of a mix of a ton of zoas and palys, mixed with Amandas favorite acans and NPS corals, a few of our favorite sps, and a few of her favorite chalices. I am sorry there are not more zoa and paly pics, but its incredibly hard to get any good photos with such a shallow tank with a canopy on it. So out of the 100 photos we got here are the few decent shots, even though a few have been posted before I figured on updating.
FTS
hillea acan
a rare one which is one of our favorites
palys and zoas
some more random shots
walking dendro
this is another one of our favorites which are hard to find
porites feather duster rock
I wish the blue in the polyps was cought better but it depends on the polyp extention to see it well. I am excited to see this piece grow and color up more! I should have taken a pic of when it first came in...
pink eyed chalice
I am guessing it has a name but I don't know it...
Another sweet chalice she got at my favorite local fish store
sabres eyes
A chalice she got a long time ago as a booger frag off a wild piece which she named after our cat Sabre.
Some random shots of cluttered and grown out palys...
