If you meant grundig5's tank I think it's an AO, the Elos tanks look quite a bit different

Sorry for the poor pics. I will update later with more clear pics.

The tank is 40 x 20 x 18. with a 40 gal. sump. I am running a G-3 with a rio hyper flow 20 through a 1" SCWD (that is not switching all the time? I turn off the pump and then turn it back on a minute later and it switches most of the time for a day and the stops again.)

I transfered most of the stuff from my 150 and still need to redo the light bar and take care of the air tubing.

keep em coming guys i am amazed how many badass shallow tanks there are going up these days, i am so glad i started this thread all your tanks are great.
 
Man, I am lovin these shallow tanks!! I think this is where I am going next time. I love the ease of maintenance in the tank.

goboltz how much rock are you going to use.

what are you going to do for equipment and stand.

I'm still gathering my equipment for the tank. So it's going to be a slow build. I should start a build thread. I currently have a 60g tall BB tank, so it's a little different getting adjusted to a shallow tank. I'm debating whether to go BB or not.

I don't want to hijack your thread GSM, so I'll post the details when I start my build thread. I find myself looking at this thread every 2-3 hours...HAHA!

i asked the guys in the rimless club too but... any ideas for how to make a lamp tree? Leemar makes one using like a 1/4" aluminum rod but they want like 100 bucks for it... kinda pricey. i've seen guys using conduit piping. can anyone who has something like this post ideas? thanks guys
