I have 38 gallon cube reef tank, is a DSB, but i do not understand what the schedule is best for my bath inside ... I recently added 2 Montipora digitata and 2 sarcophyton, put later some other LPS and SPS as soon as I solved the problem of dino ... which I think is due to 'the incorrect schedule ... :headwally:
 
What are you setting the intensity to?the max I have mine is at 45%..I have a friend with a shallow tank that is running my scedule his tank is 16 inches high and had similar problems you speak of with algae.

In this moment I am using LSPmix of Reeflab ... but I lowered green and red (stimulators of algae?) To an 10% this is my schedule, maybe there was a small regression ... but everything is yet to be verified...

I started here and then modified with a four minute delay between each Radion for sunrise and sunset. You can download the profiles used in the whitepaper and upload each via reeflink.

Anyone have any recommendations. I have a 75 gallon with mostly leathers, a few softies. I am using the RMS mount. I will be running two xr30 pros.
 
I didn't want to start a new thread if I didn't have to. Anyways, I just put 2 radions on my tank. Lights are 9.5" off the water, 24" deep. I have couple SPS corals, a few types of birds nests, chalice, acros, and two maxima clams. after putting my radions on one of my colonies is starting to die, almost like pealing and most of the polyps aren't coming out. I zoomed in a little to show the main area.



I did back the power down on my radions(which is below). Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would like to try another type of recommended schedule before I have to buy a PAR meter.

currently I have 7h hours at 35% +~2 hour ramp up/down
Blues @100%
Green/Red@37%
White @ 50%

100% on all channels 12k color. so 45% total power. i run mine at 18k at 100%.which is about 63% total power. for the most part the same height and depth as your tank. but i use wide angle lenses for better spread.

i feel higher whites can cause problems unless u take weeks to acclimate. do you like the 18k-20k look? ive has better results and coral color at those settings.

my suggestion is. try 18k at 70% for a month. see how that goes and if want more whites slowly creep down to 14k. but watch your total power and keep it the same. as you lower kevlin you will lower total power. i do 6 hour peak time.

your birdsnets, once it starts peeling my need to be fragged.
 
see how corals look after 2 weeks. if they do not look pale or washed out go up 5% or down 5% if they do. also monitor clam to make sure mantles dont look bleached.

Would really like to see graphs from people with deep tanks 30 inches and above. Having a bit of trouble balancing light in a 30 inch deep tank.
 
Here is my schedule on a 27" deep tank, so far things look good. Switched from T5/LED hybrid to Gen4 2 months ago.
