I was in my lfs yesterday and walked through the invert aisle only to see 5-6 shark eggs. All of them looked looked like the traditional cat shark egg except for one. Im not sure what type it was, but if its a different type then coral cat or banded cat i want to buy it. Can someone please shed some light on this. Thanks.

Looks to be a bamboo shark of some sort, not a cat shark. Looks similar to some of the smaller species of Bamboo.

Does it look like these? Smaller than the Brown-Banded Bamboo shark eggs?
These are grey bamboo eggs.

That is why I asked about size. They are 6 to 7 inches long and about 3.5 - 4 inches wide.

Bamboo, eppie - something in that arena. Definitely not a cat. BTW - Dmorty - the pic you posted looks identical to the eggs my STNs drop.

Got that picture off google from a aquarium in Australia that said it was laid by their Eppies... You know way more about elasmobranchs than I do. Not that google is the best source of facts.
