Hey guys my dad and I are thinking about getting a 300 gallon what would be the best shark for the tank and could we put in the jappenese dragon eel thanks in advance
 
For a 300, I would consider a pair of Epaulettes. Banded Cats are nocturnal and bottom dwelling compared to a swimming shark. You can keep eels with them, I would just be careful of ones with bad reputations like a Tesselata, etc.
 
Mixing dragon eels and sharks don't seem like a good idea to me they both can get aggressive at feeding time especially the dragon. It might work for awhile but I'm betting one will end up dead but good luck if you decide to do it
 
If you want to plan on long term care don't get a banded cat shark. Thats what most LFS label them as but they are really brown banded bamboo sharks and get big. They can reach lengths of over 3 feet in the home aquarium What are the dimensions? Im assuming its the standard 96*30. I have a 240 which is 96*24 and have a white spotted bamboo shark which is outgrowing my tank already hes about 2 feet right now and I feel like he needs a larger tank. An Epaullete Shark will get large as well reaching lengths over 3 feet. There are different species of Epaullete Sharks that do stay a lot smaller you could look into but IMO your best bet shark wise is either a marbled cat shark or a coral cat shark. They both stay small averages around 24-27 inches. You could even keep a pair of these guys if you wanted.
 
It 36 inches wide don't know how long my dad bought he tank it's a marine land deep dimension 300 I think I will just get to epaulletes and a zebra moray thanks 4 the info

Pair of eppauletes purchased seperly but at the same time or a pair of horn sharks
A stingray of some kind if I can
 
I pretty sure your tank is to small for horns and to small for a pair for of eppauletes but could probibly have one and rays can live with sharks I would get a round ray they are much easier to take care of then blue spotted rays
 
If I did get to epps would it be okay to buy them selector and inter dose them at the same time not saying I am jut wondern and wat about marble sharks
 
i would say get a marbled cat shark because they max out at 2 feet. i have heard of sharks bitting and even killing rays in home aquariums.
