Sharks and Anemone

I have a 400 gallon that I plan on adding a shark, thinking eppie. I have a a few stray bulb anemone that are in places I cannot get them removed. Also have a carpet haddoni which i should be able to remove.

Has anyone had any experience with shark and anemone?

I had a pair of sharks in my 560gal. They always bumped into the carpet in the beginning. Can see the sting marks. But after a few weeks they avoided the whole carpet area.

No issue with bta

I was going to say a haddoni can pack a punch, might be best to avoid the whole situation.

Yes the haddoni are coming out of the tank. It's the bulb i can't remove that worried me. Not much seems to be bother by them other than corals

Sharks are clumsy and will rub up against anemones and get stung, its best to remove them

I wouldn’t really worry about a bta, but I have seen a haddoni grab and start to consume a leopard shark years ago in a friends pond.

I tend to agree - It is best to avoid keeping Anemones and sharks together. A better option keep the anemones in your reef tank aquarium and the sharks in the pond.
