Great job on the sump build. I built my original sump the exact same way. I think now it will be my new refugium.
I designed a way to have the drains submerged to work with bean animal but not have to move plumbing to get the filter socks out, I'm happy with the result

I like the idea. Do you think the water will escape around the perimeter and under the rim of the sock instead of into it? Probabally depends on how much flow you have. High flow= minimal escape and low flow = more escape? Just guessing here.

Thanks, I did a lot of planning for this one, after having the 110 I learned exactly what I wanted, from size to automation to make keeping things as stable as possibleBuild is looking great, looks like lots of forethought went into this. Keep the updates coming. Great sump also...
Great craftsmanship. Lots of reefers are probably envying you right about now.

I agree, and it makes life a whole lot easier. I also want to be able to go on holidays for 2-3 weeks and have things be ok like the top off reservoir being large enough to last that long, same with the dosing liquids and the skimmer effluent reservoir.:spin2:I agree. I think a system is awesome when extensively thought out and then built without just throwing something together.
