okay i have had these clowns for 2 years, they are mated pair.
false clowns

they other day i was treating them for ick i place both in my 5 gallon bucket with tank water and some meds. then a freshwater dip for 2 minute. now they are back into the disolay,

and she is ****ed of at the male. his rear fin is torn a bit and she constantly chasing him away. what did i do wrong?

I am no expert, but seems to me it is maybe the stress of a change that causes it. She is likely stressed out, and has nothing form whence she can get relief from the stress so she takes it out on him. Sounds like a predictable response to new stresses from which there is no relief available. Consider that she is stressed and has no where to run that looks familiar. Pounding on her hubby gives her a sense of control in an otherwise unrecognizable and unfamilliar environments and so it makes her feel better.

JMO, good luck, Kevin

what kind of clowns are they? Maroons are terrible about breaking their bond when they are disturbed like that. Give them a day or so and see what happens.

she's still ****ed it been two days. i'm feeling bad for him. he's still good eating swimming and enjoying himself. just she is mad at him for some reason. and the thing is she lets him back in at night. :) weird.

"and the thing is she lets him back in at night. weird."

It's not really weird, it's about normal for clowns
