Orange bta is acting bad...
Today The rock its on was flipped upwards, (NOT SURE HOW, CAN ONLY GUESS THAT THE FEMALE MAROON DID IT, BUT NO IDEA WHY SHE WOULD) whitch dident harm the foot at all, but its foot was now exposed rather than being on the underside of the rock.
Hours later it started to shrink. Took a huge poop.... And thats it. It hasent closed its mouth in over 5 hours, nor has it expanded at all.
Strangely it has its foot V'd out. I dident think a nem split while shrunk, but unless its VERY suddenly dieing, I cant explain whats going on. Its been eatting like a champion. I dident move the rock back, I dident want to 'smoosh' its foot by accident. I figured it would crawl down a few inches and re adjust itself.
Well... Its mouth still looks AWFUL. Looking for reassurance or any ideas I guess. I havent done anything different than I always do.
I cracked the piece of pipe on my skimmer that holds the pump to the valve (coralife) so I zip tied it to make sure it wouldent fall, so the skimmer is skimming a little less than usual.. But thats it.
Salinity 1.025
calcium - 410
alk- 8.0
mag- 1260
nitrate - 5
ammonia - 0

dident bother with nitrite.
Any ideas?? Lights have been off an hour now and no change
