My nano is going to be nearly all zoas, but it's only got a 10 watt 10K bulb(5 gallons) Should I add anything to the water for them to eat, or will they be okay in that light until I have the money to add a second bulb?
More light would be the best thing, additional supplements won't do them much good as they are typically photosynthetic animals. Some palys will display feeding behavior for mysis and such, that is feeding though not supplements.
Remember that you can't take things out of the water you put them in. You can only dilute them with water changes. In such a small tank it will be easy to pollute the water with too much food or supplements. Zoas are very hardy critters and too much care can sometimes have a deleterious effect on your whole system.
