Show me your 150w mh lit SPS tanks (if there are any, lol)

I recently set up a new 40 breeder SPS tank lit by 2x's 150w mh's, 2x's 36" T5's, and 2x's 24" T5's. The halides are reeflux 10k's and the T5's are all ATI blue+ in SLR reflectors.

I'm sure I probably have plenty of light to keep SPS happy, but the last few days I've really been fighting the urge to jump up to 250's. That being stated, can those of you that are running 150's post up some pics of your tanks so I can see that I'm just being stupid and that 250's are by no means necessary, lol.

These are pictures from 2005ish when I had my 75 gallon with 2x150 XM bulbs and 2 x VHO actinics. I've since upgraded to a 120 gallon with 2 x 250.

Heh... that is, without a doubt, my favorite coral in the whole tank. I bought it as an aquacultured piece at a wamas (local club) meeting circa 2004-ish. It's just a blue-polyped/tipped A. formosa with green base flesh. No fancy name; no royalty lineage - who cares. Just an awesome piece that has done nothing but grow well for me, and most of it's growth was right under one of those 150s. I've spread it around much of the DC area, happily.

Mine is a mixed reef with SPS its a 34gal solana with a 150MH. Check out the Solana owners forum in the Nano section there are lots of SPS Solana tanks with 150 MH.

Agree completely. 150s no problem. This is 2 radiums in a sunpod with 42w of 420nm actinic.

Nothing real impressive here but I'm fairly new to sps and I'm getting good growth out of my 150's. I've used Ushio 14k, Phoenix and Radiums all with good growth.

ORA Red Planet, really dark red since this pic and switch to Radiums.

Birdsnest from couple of 1 inch frags,

Orange cap you can see in the FTS above,

Superman Monti. You can see where the original frag plug was and all the rest is new growth.

Bad iphone pic but you get the growth idea,

All the rest of my sps are newly acquired frags so not much to show yet. I also have 2 clams that have more than doubled in size in about 6 months.
